Exceptional and heartwarming restaurant offering authentic Portugese cuisine. We stumbled upon this place by chance and couldn’t be happier to have done so. The food was amazing (you have to try the desserts), the service was super friendly and their choice of wine is spot on. I would love to come back if I ever visit Lisbon again!
Indulge in authentic Portuguese cuisine at unbeatable local prices! Treat yourself to a hearty family-style meal and savor the incredible flavors... but keep this hidden gem to yourself and don't let the tourists in on the secret! It's a culinary adventure waiting to be discovered!
This must be one of the best restaurants in Lisbon with traditional Portugueses food. The fish is always so fresh and delicious, simple but the taste is indescribable. I think grilled tuna is the best here. Also desserts are delicious especially the chocolate mousse and the cheesecake.Definitely a must place to visit
I’ve been Lisbon 2times. I’ve been this restaurant 5 times.Shrimp, octopus salad, Grilled octopus. Cheese cake. Best routine to me.Let’s go tonightAlso… you can use credit cards and Quick pays.
wow. this was truly one of the best meals of my life. i saw a previous review and copied his main entree and his desert - pork for the main, biscuit cake for desert. when i say this pork was so juicy, please believe me. it was delicious and honestly got better with every bite. the fries were seasoned well, too. My glass of wine was superb along with the pork. My apologies, I forget which wine i ordered, but it was red and I believe it was local. The biscuit cake for desert was out of this world.this restaurant is a true to the bone hidden gem. there's no sign outside, only a posted menu with the restaurant name printed small at the bottom. don't pass this one up.
We went with some friends, and the food was incredible – very tasty with a Portuguese touch. We tried the Entrecôte, Secreto Ibérico, Grilled Sole, and Grilled Salmon, and each dish was of the highest quality. This restaurant is highly recommended for trying Portuguese cuisine. The service was excellent, and it's located right in the city center. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Just make sure to make a reservation before you go.
Such a nice staff, really good wine and beer, prawns, the best octopus - with a bit of wine taste. Finished with amazing tiramisu. In the end it was not expensive. Thank you
Unassuming corner restaurant on a hilly section of Lisbon. We almost passed it by, despite looking for it because there isn't much signage visible. But my goodness, what a great experience it was! The hostess was super friendly and helpful, answering our many questions about the wines and food. We started out with a bread and olive board, which included butter and olive oil. There were toasted and non-toasted slices of very nice baguette, and the olives, while not large, were very tasty, as was the peppery olive oil. The cheese was fairly soft and mild and went so well with the bread and olives. I had the pork for the main, which was a very generous helping of tender pan-grilled pork, French fries and small green salad. I wasn't able to finish all of this, but partly because I wanted to try one of the desserts, which was a biscuit cake, drizzled with dark chocolate syrup. This was a nice way to finish the meal as it wasn't terribly sweet or heavy. We came away really enjoying the whole experience, and felt that we had a taste of honest, non-touristy food - just what we were looking for. Highly recommended
